import

The import program is a member of the ImageMagick suite of tools. Use it to capture some or all of an X server screen and save the image to a file.

Syntax

import [PARAMETER ...] FILE

Parameters

-quality LEVEL

JPEG/PNG compression LEVEL.

-strip

Strip the image of any profiles or comments.
